Ordered Verizon 700p 5/22/06 at 1:11 pm.

Checked Verizon status page at 7:21 pm
Status: We have received your order. Please check back tomorrow.

Anyone else?

Same here, but there is good news. When I ordered, I figured I might be the victim of over-agressive pre-sales and my Treo 700p would show up sometime in June (and I would proceed to have to cancel and return).

Check out the story today... Verizon Treo 700p now available!

Let's hope they haven't updated their site. Keep an eye out for Fedex.

So much for good news.. Verizon just sent an email letting me know the 700p is on backorder.:mad:

Funny, they announce it's available starting today -- and yet my order from yesterday is backordered.

Just got off the phone with internet support. Apparently, they put their computer system put them on hold and they could release them as soon as this afternoon. When they do ship, it's Fedex 2 day.

Verizon called back today and said, "they would be shipping tomorrow morning". It figures...I'm scheduled to leave early Friday morning for Maryland.

Good news for others who have ordered...looks like your 700p will arrive this week.

I havent received an email, about a delay, and tomorow I will call to get a shipping date.
The date might even be true. I figure the first indication will be the charge on my credit card.
If its going to be weeks, I also will cancel. Some one start having a sale.

Now I have to get rid of my VX6700.

Verizon Customer Support says that my 700p should be shipping tonight, no word on delays or backorders. I'll post again once I get a tracking number.

Mine has shipped and I have a tracking number. They shipped it overnight for delivery tomrrow. Problem is that I am 400 miles away and won't be home till Sunday.

My order status has changed to "processed" and says I should have it in 2-3 days. Hoping to get a tracking number. I'm leaving early Friday, so I wouldn't mind spending my holiday weekend exploring the 700p.
