Default opening and launching .exe files with 700p/mac combo

ok, I tried to do a search to see if this was covered. No luck, even though I'm quite sure I'm not the first one to ask about this.

I download .exe files to my mac, which I know I can't open with my mac, but apparently they are the right files for the 700p, because palm.com posts these as their files for the palm devices. I can't open them with the palm 700p, and I don't even see them on the device or the card.

Any ideas or insight shed on this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

EXE files are for Windows PCs.

You haven't specified what is in these EXE files, but here's a page that might help you -- http://echoone.com/filejuicer/formats/exe

Yeah, I sort of knew that, but thought that it would be counterintuitive for Palm to only release a .exe file type for some of their downloads. It was a program file. I thought software for the palm platform were all .prc file types. Thanks
