Phone Technican vs Volume Care

I have used Volume Care and have been a bit disappointed. While it definitely makes me able to hear my phone, I find I have very little volume control. It's either REALLY loud or really soft. Almost all or nothing. The ringtones are almost too audible and very distorted. I am afraid I will ruin the speaker. I've heard people here recommend Phone Technician. What do you think? Is it a better program?

What version are you using? I am using version 6.05 and have a large range on volume. How do you have it configured? Auto or manual? Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Phone Technician.

I have both and use VolumeCare for volume control. I suggest giving it a trial.

Target, I checked the version I was using and found it was 5.29. I checked for updates, and am now using 6.12. Let me tell you, from just the look of the upgrade, I knew it would be better. The old one was very Mickey Mousey looking; this one is slick. And it has many more options. I played with it a it and think that it will work very well for me. Thanks for your response. You are welcome. I think that Benjie, had the correct idea of conducting a trial. Either way, its great you can hear now.
