Problems Using Downloads

I am having aproblem using anything that I download to my memory card. whenever I download an application it asks me if I want to save it to the card or to the phone so as a backup and to conserve memory I save it to the card and while saving it says something like palm/blazer/application so that is as far as I get I can't seem to be able to use what I download which is a real bummer because I just discovered the palm freeware website please help me thank you

In order to work, many of these downloaded apps must reside in ROM, and therefore be downloaded to the "Device", not the card.

When an application is downloaded to the card, it is stored in /Palm/Blazer/Download.

If the application is zipped up, then an application such as HandZipper Lite or LightNZip is required to unzip it on the Treo.
