Default problems with using treo 700p bluetooth and toyota

I just purchased a 2007 toyota tundra with bluetooth capability. I wanted to talk on the phone "Hands free" using the treo 700p bluetooth. It sometimes connects and is wonderful. Unfortunately, It is intermitten, and stops working, If you go to the Palm website. it states that Palm is not compatable with the treo. Does anybody know a "workaround" this problem? or how do we get Palm to make the neccessary software to allow the treo to work with toyota (a major auto manufacturer!)

Just an FYI, but my 700p works fine with the bluetooth UConnect in our '05 Chrysler Town and Country van. I am wondering if the Toyota bluetooth has something to do with it? Sorry I can't be of more help.

One thing I noticed that messes with the Bluetooth connectivity to a headset is turning Bluetooth on and off. I was doing this since I don't use my headset all the time. Once I stopped turning Bluetooth off, I would have a reliable connection with my headset.

You could also try repairing and soft resetting, since I know that resolves some issues.
