Default Recommendation Please: Best voicemail reminder

All,

I was surprised to notice that Treo 700p doesn't have a nagging audio reminder to tell you that 1) you missed a call and 2) that someone left you a voicemail.

In researching, I'm finding out that there are 3rd party programs that provide these type of functionality.

What is the best of the bunch that does this really well. I've already missed many calls and need to find a solution quickly. If treo 700p does it with a built in functionality, please let me know. I just can't seem to find it to configure it. I need to get this setup asap.

Thanks,
GadgetZilla

I notice you're looking for an audio reminder, so the flashing asterisk isn't doing it for you.

Butler is the "king" of nagging. It will do it all for you. Well worth the price.

Thank you for the suggestion. I had narrowed it down to that program as well. There's another one called 'phonealarm', I'm comparing that one as well.

I don't know why the treo would skip such a basic functionality. Every cellphone that I know of offers that feature.

I use Butler and it works. Flashes the screen brightly on and off, plays any MP3 you set to it. (I use the Star Trek Red Alert - not a huge trekkie, but that sound is unmistakable.) And it changes the LED. I have mine set to fast orange. It gets noticed even face down.

Good luck.

Your welcome. Butler should be pre-installed. It's a great app.
