I purchased a package of Smartphone Experts screensavers from the EverythingTreo store, in anticipation of the 700p I'm going to be picking up today.
I'm looking at the instructions on the back and it says "remove backing by pulling the tab to expose adhesive." Adhesive? Although I'm a PDA novice, I thought all the screen savers attached either by static cling or by being slightly larger than the screen and sliding underneath the case.
The description on the website says "The Treo Screen Protector is very easy is to apply and remove. Unlike other screen protectors, you don't have to apply it perfectly on the first try! Simply remove the screen protector using a piece of scotch tape, and try again! If dust gets trapped under the screen protector, simply wash it away with water and apply again." So that sounds like it contradicts the "adhesive" mention on the actual package.
I just want to make sure I'm not going to damage the screen by adhering something to it that won't come off easily. I'm hoping that they don't actually
mean adhesive when they say it.
Thoughts?
