| no files are with the pre-fix "ton"
and all the .wav files i put on my card are .Mp3s for some reason.
how is that possible? |

| I don't have an answer right off the bat, unless there's something different about the way the 700p processes them. I haven't made any new ones since I got my 700p. I'll try making a ringtone and let you know how it goes.

| I used Audacity to trim a song to 30 seconds at the lowest settings and got it to 1.1 megs. I emailed it to myself but the Treo kept wanting to accept it into Voice Recorder. I couldn't seem to get around that so I hit yes. It did not show up in tones on the menu and it had an additional file extension for the voice recorder. I'll have to play around to see how to get it into Tones.
Edit: Ok, got it to work. You can make a voice memo a ringtone. Once it's highlighted, hit the menu button and you get a choice to add as a ringtone and it shows up in Tones.

i put int the Mp3 that i have that's 20 seconds.... then..... what exactly do i click. i've been messing with it for like an hour and i can't seem to reduce the quality/size.
