Default Search/find function for 700p?

Does anyone have a good app for Searching the Palm 700p? You know, something that will let me search contacts for a particular company name, or even look into Memos for a particular word or phrase. I know I can arrange my contacts my Company name, etc. But sometimes I just need to look for a person or a phrase, or part of the company name, or even by city. My previous Windows smartphones have had that Find function. Could it be a big shortfall of the Palm OS??

There is a built-in Find function. Hit the black option key and then the shift/magnifying glass key. It will do exactly what you want.

That's true, but that's only worthwhile if you need the other features it provides as well.

Will this also let you search contacts via phone number and/or street name-address?

Yes, but it will do it across more than just the Contacts application. I believe if you initiate the find from within a particular application, then it will start the search with that application, and then continue on to the others.

This is SO COOL. Thanx!! I posted somewhere else a few days ago, about trying to search via an "address" instead of a "name", and no one thought it was possible.

BRAVO!
