Is anyone using this product with their 700p? It's clearly listed as being compatible with the 700p, which wasn't the case with earlier designs.

Of course since I'm posting here there must be a problem and the problem is my 700p doesn’t always recognize when the adapter is connected and disconnected, in fact most of the time it doesn’t recognize this. Upon receiving the adapter I plugged it in to try it out and got no sound whatsoever through the earphones, sound continued to play normally through the phone’s external speaker and the phone operated as though the adapter wasn’t plugged in at all. After unplugging and plugging in the adapter several times, as well as turning off the screen a few times, sound finally played through the headphones as I would expect and all appeared normal. However when I was done and unplugged the adapter the phone continued to behave as though the adapter was still connected. There was no sound from the external speaker for audio and I could not hear anything when making or receiving calls. Again, after plugging and unplugging the adapter several times and turning the screen on and off, some combination of this restored my 700p to normal operation. This happens every time I use the adapter, I have to go through some number of times (5 – 10 usually does it) connecting and disconnecting of the adapter before the 700p recognizes that it’s attached or that it’s been disconnected. Incidentally, the speakerphone option remains available on the screen whether this adapter is connected or disconnected and working or not, unlike one of the symptoms of the jammed regular headphone jack problem. This is very frustrating as you might imagine and not at all what I expected. I have already experienced problems with the normal headphone jack on my 700p and hoped this product would solve my problems but it seems to have created problems of it’s own. Has anyone else tried this product with their 700p? Any results positive or negative? There is no button or anything on the adapter so I can't imagine what I might be doing wrong, just plug in and go, or so I thought.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
