Several more questions about the Treo 700p
I'll try to make them smaller this time.
1)How much does each channel cost? As an example, how much would it cost for me to have a sports channel and news? (Per month)
2)Should I buy a used on ebay; should I not go near used ones? Or should I get the 2-year plan thing? (And for the 2-year plan, is it just the 300 bucks, plus an agreement that I'll have a plan with the for 2 years. And also, it says that you can only get night and weekend minutes free with the 2-year plan, is this true?
3)What features does the word editor on docs to go not have? Does it have everything a pc word would have?
4)I have a cox email account. Can I access this on the 700p?
5)What feature do you use the most? Why?

1) you would have to get mobi tv unless you have the sprint. mobi tv his about $10 month but you have to have an unlimited data plan.
2) you can go use but you are at risk if the device doesn't work you can't return it and it is hacked some way you can't return it.Also i you drop it your out $500 bucks. I recommend new.
With a two year agreement you pay $300 + tax+shipping on the phone that is it. But the service agreement is different. First bill is always teh most exspensive due to taxes+network charges+one+ another month of billing and I think that is it. But don't be surpised if your first bill is over $200 or just under it. After the first bill it goes down to your monthly agreement but (you have to add)+ state/fed tax+network services every month. So that is an extra 15 bucks max to your monthly charges( can be cheaper).
When it says unlimited nights and weekends and doesn't have a expiration date in the contract then it is unlimited nights and weekends.
(beware if you get unlimited data you can't use more than 2-3 GB (DUNing) of data it is standard on all networks doesn't matter what package you have. If you breach that then you can be sued by the networks just a heads up.)
3) word it is almost the same as on pc except you only have a choice of two fonts. (That is the only difference I see on word.) But it also depends what version of docs to go you get. The stock one on the treo 700p you can't do much with in terms of excel and powerpoint. but with and upgrade to version 9 you can do almost everything. Almost. Powerpoint is limited. Can't attach music and video files in the presentation.
4) I beleive so just will have to get a third party app or somehow access it through your blazers wb browser.
5)Kinoma 4 to stream videos form youtueb and google videos. Also watch movies on my device a lot. listen to ptunes, audible, play LJP, warfar inc, write papers, try to program, and so on. I use every feature on it I havne't found a feature yet that I can't use or haven't.
Well one I can't burn cds/dvds:laugh3: and can't take pics in the dark those are one feature I don't care to much for. Well it would be nnice to have the flash.
Hope this helps?

Hey, yeah that helped a lot.
But I do have one thing to ask after your response: you say that it could be risky to get a used one on ebay. Well, aren't they not supposed to lie? I mean, they can't say that it "is in great condition", "fully functional" "with no problems" and get away with it can they?
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You said try to program. Are you saying that there are emulators out there that allow you to play like nintendo games and stuff?
EDIT: You also said that you don't see anything missing from word, right? So there's like custom shapes, clipart, tables, etc.?

Any time you buy anything used, it's "buyer beware". That said, eBay is generally pretty good. You'll want to check out the feedback of anyone you're thinking about dealing with carefully. I've made some fairly large eBay purchases and haven't had a problem.
Also, for what it's worth, if you buy a used Sprint phone, you can get insurance on it within 30 days of activating it. That's what I did with my 650.
Sprint Treo 700p 2Day, 4Cast, Agendus Premier, BluePill, Butler, Chatter, Diddlebug, Flight Status, Google Maps, LightwavPro, MyBible 4, Noah Pro, palmPDF, PDANet, ProfileCare, pTunes Deluxe, QuickNews, Reset Doctor, RescoBackup, SplashID/Money, TCPMP, TealLock, UninstallManager, volumeCare Pro, ZLauncher

yeah just be careful on ebay. They can lie and get away with it to if they are under false ip addresses and what not. Just read the customer reviews to be safe about it.
Yes there are emulators and you can play snes, nes, sms, everything from I think Super nintendo/Gameboy down to the really old old acrade games.
Clipart no there isn't. There are tables and shapes like 3d triangles and stuff no not yet but is being implemented maybe the next update. You can also go to www.dataviz.com and email/look at the app for more info.
But you do get pdf, text, powerpoint, excel and I think that is everything. Excel has been the most improved recently now you can graph I think anything. So in time I think dataviz will have clipart and so on.
