| SMS Issues with Treo 700p "Lookup in contacts" I just got the new Treo 700p to replace my lost 650. I can see that it is faster but, it is missing some functionality that I miss. In the SMS compose window, it used to be when I hit the dropdown menu, I could choose a recent SMS recipient or I could "Lookup in Contacts"... Now, the "lookup in contacts" choice is gone. Instead, Palm informed me that they have replaced that with the "autocomplete" look up system that allows me to start typing a name and it fills in the possibilities. THis is lame because it only accesses the Palm Treo COntacts not the 3rd party Keycontact software database... DOes anyone have a work around? I dread the idea of returning to the Palm Contacts program. I hate it. Should I download a 3rd party SMS program? |

| That's interesting, I wasn't aware KeyContacts maintained a separate database. I use Agendus to manage my contacts, but it uses the same database as the original contacts, just manipulates them its own way.
Maybe someone who uses KeyContacts can jump in....

| And if they cannot, you cannot expect Palm to support everything out there. Third party applications need to support the base product/default application. Ben
