    Default so stupid

    I keep getting emails for replies to every thread I post in. I have configured my settings correctly. Why does it do that? Why is it even the deafualt? It makes no sense, and is pointless.

    Try going to User CP, then Edit Options, the Default notification mode. You can change it so you won't get the emails.

    I'm betting the reason for it being the default is that many people start threads to ask a question. With the setting that way, they can know when someone has replied, in case they don't visit regularly.
