Did a HotSync to my PC Sunday morning, and noticed it "hung up" for a while (15 - 20 seconds) on "Media". Nothing was added or deleted from my Photo's/Videos (On my SD Card), and I thought it a bit odd, but nothing serious.

A couple of hours later I was looking at some of the (228) photos on my card, and noticed that the "Order" they are normally in, was all disarranged. I like to keep the "View" of the photos set by "Date", so that I can always see the most recent ones first.

Upon a little further exploration, and checking out the "details" portion of several of them, I noticed that the "Date Created" under EVERY ONE of them, was set to the time of the last HotSync! I guess this is what was going on when it "hung up" on Media. It must have been changing the "Date Created" on every photo! I wonder why?

Obviously now, when I ask to view the list by date, the photos are all over the place, as the date created for everyone of them is listed as the time of the last HotSync.

Ironically, this HotSync was the first one I did after the Daylight Saving Time change..............hmmmmm.....

I wonder if that had anything to do with it? If something "glitched"?

In any event, this isn't really any big deal, but was something I was curious to see if anyone can explain.

Curious. The same thing happened to me. Incidentally, I'd finally got around to performing Sprints update before this happened.

I still haven't performed the (Verizon) update, so we can rule that out. I think it was some kind of "glitch" with the DST update. Just my guess.

I've always had my media set to "do nothing" when syncing, as I manage that stuff myself on my card. It's odd that Palm Desktop was even able to get at my media in the 1st place.

I also notice that my Prefs were kind of scrambled and that screwed up some of my auto-magical things, like backups. I'd gotten so used to some things always happening I haven't been as diligent as I should have been in checking up on them.

Getting more and more interesting.
