Question Still connected?

On my old 650 (running blazer) when ever I was done checking my web e-mail or checking out a web page I would select the menu item to disconnect before closing my browser. The green connection arrows would go grey and I knew I was 'off' ... my 700p (again with blazer) doesn't offer the disconnect menu item. Should I be concerned? I have unlimited data plan, so useage isn't my issue, but I'd assume being connected all the time means battery drain.

If you go to the system prefs, then network, you'll see an option to disconnect. The 700p doesn't have the battery life my 650 did but I haven't noticed a drain directly attributed to being connected, FWIW.

You could also take a look at Power Hero. It will allow you to automagically turn off the network connection (and a few other settings) after a set time.
