Exclamation Switching from Old 700p to New 700P

My old Palm 700p phone is busted, such that it doesn't even get past the Access Powered screen (the screen is also cracked). I bought a new one online. Now I need to make my phone # work on this replacement phone. Do I have to go to the Verizon store, or can I have this phone take the place of my old phone by activating something?

Have you checked the Verizon site or called support?

I know with Verizon it's possible to change phones if you have an "On-Line" Account set up. It's just a matter of changing the Serial # (Inside the back of the phone behind the battery), from the old one to the new one.

If you don't have an on-line account, Verizon can do it for you over the phone. Not a big deal.
