Symbols and accents

Hi, guys. I think my question might be a little picky, but I figure I should try it anyway.

I do a lot of work with European languages, which include accents and other language symbols (é, à, ü, etc.). I'd like to be able to take notes on my treo, (since it's smaller and lighter than my laptop) but am not sure how to get these symbols in the treo documents. I know I could use MobileWrite and do it by hand, but I'd rather type. If I were to get a portable keyboard, would I then have the option of adding those symbols in?

I bring up the keyboard and tap "Int'l"-that will get you the symbols you want. The key is the on the bottom right of the keypad.

Ben, thanks for your reply! Which keyboard do you have, or is the "Int'l" key available on all portable keyboards?

Try the 'alt' button to select some of the international characters.

It is available to some extent on all keyboards, though the ALT is probably the one most likely to be used on an external keyboard. Ben
