Sync WMA to ptunes deluxe

I am having trouble synching my protected WMA music files to ptunes deluxe on my treo 700p. I have WMP version 10. When I try to sync from my computer's windows media player 10, it gives me an error message which says "a problem has occurred in obtaining the device's certificate. Contact Microsoft product support." I have the song's license since the song plays on my computer and I just purchased the song yesterday. I am able to transfer unprotected WMA/MP3 songs through Windows Media Player sync or through Palm Desktop without problems. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

There are some problems playing DRM music in pTunes. I've run into the same problem before. The awkward fix I use is to burn it to a cd, then import it back to your computer as an mp3.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I tried it today, and it works great. I agree it's a little awkward, but as long as it works...

Are you syncing through WMP or through Pocket Tunes? I have a 650 and I was having trouble trying to use a card reader to move the songs over. I have to connect the palm, open pocket tunes so that it says that it is connecting to my PC and then I can sync. (I use musicmatch, and it finds the palm the way it finds my regular mp3 player) HTH

Protected music files!?!?!??! what are those...lol f you use Napster or ITunes alot..then Tunebite is a MUST! It is a legal, simple way to get your wma to mp3 and avoid all issues.
