    Default Synchronization issue

    Greetings:

I have the 700p. I use it to sync with my calendar and contacts which are part of my Amicus Attorney program on my desktop. Amicus uses a Palm OS which is why I chose the 700p. My problem is with sychronization of my calendar entries. For reasons unbeknownst to me, any entry I make on my desktop program will show up correctly on my Treo, upon syncing; however, I can't get entries I make on my Treo to show up on my desktop (i.e., it is only syncing one way - from desktop to Treo) All settings are set to "sychronize the files" and obviously it is syncing to some extent as I have no problem getting entries on my desktop to my Treo. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks

    Hi:

Have you tried setting the calendar conduit to "Handheld Overwrites Desktop"?

    Default Synchronization Issue

    Thanks Steve:

I guess my concern was that by doing so I would create a situation where my desktop entires wouldn't make it to my Treo (the opposite problem from what I have now) Let me try it.

Sorry for the delayed response, but my flight was all screwed up yesterday and I got in very late.

If not too late, you could make a copy of the back-up folder and rename it in case you have to restore....

If you are making entries on both the device and the desktop, you should "sync" the files. If you make entires only on the device, use "device overwrites desktop" and if you make entries only on the desktop, use "desktop overwrites device." Also, make sure the conduit is installed and enabled.
