Syncing Outlook 2007 with my Treo

I installed the conduit update from the Palm website for Outlook 2007.

When I perform a hotsync, it syncs my contacts & such. It functions properly.

However... how in the world can I access some settings where I can tell it what to sync. Such as contacts, calendar, tasks, etc? Maybe I don't want it to synch my tasks or calendar? I would also like to control how it syncs my contacts (whether it keeps the ones from the Treo or desktop, etc)...

I could have swore that I saw this yesterday either on the Treo itself or on my desktop, but I cant find it to save my life now. :angry:

I was thinking perhaps it was under the "HotSync Manger"... but when I click that from the start menu, it's as if nothing happens. I have tried this from two different computers.. one XP Pro & one Vista.

Nevermind.. just found it.. after HOURS of searching I don't know how in the world I kept overlooking this...

It was "Custom" by right-clicking the hotsync icon in the task bar.

One more question...

When I go to the 'Custom' hotsync menu on my desktop, it allows me to choose what to do for each thing.. such as whether I want my Treo or my desktop to win if there is a calendar issue, etc.

I synced my calendar from home last night on my laptop. This morning I came in and synced with my desktop at work. Unfortunately, it duplicated every entry in my calendar.. which is REALLY annoying since I have a lot of entries several days/weeks/months in advance. How in the world can I completely clear? Every time I change the custom options to tell it to take teh calendar from the 'desktop only', the custom options reset themselves after every hotsync! ARGGGHHH

I will look and try to find it but go to plam and support and go to your device and the troubleshooting and go to duplicate entries and it should give you a knowledge base article to clear it up. I will try to locate and get the url for you but you should be able to find it with the above directions as well. Good luck!

i can connect my treo 700wx via bluetooth to vista. it does not sync. HELP

I dont know anything about synching via bluetooth off the top of my head. Do you have the user guide? If so what does it say aboiut setting bluetooth sync? Do you havre it set up? Also you have posted this in the 700p forum it needs to be in the 700w/wx forum not here. I am not a moderator so I cant move your posting to that forum. Have you looked in the 700 w/wx forum for an answer to your question?
