text cutting off when reading email?

When I am reading email and I press the down button, I have trouble reading the last line of the top screen/ the first line of the next screen. I am used to the blackberry scroll button wherer you can go down line by line.

Any ideas?

i figured it out. in preferences, there is something called "fix split lines"
