    Favorite Text messaging

    Hello every one! I have a treo 700p I and I can send text messaging fine but when some one sends me a text it has number letters and symbols not what the contact originaly sent my phone company it dept cant help me is there a solution for this proble i reall love my phone just got use to it can any one help me.:embarassed:

    Wow, to say the least. The message is received and with today's technology, that should not be a factor. A stupid question though and always the first place to start, have you done a backup of the device and executed a hard reset? If it continues to misbehave after a hard reset with NOTHING on the device, then it is a defective unit.
