The right SD card?

I have been searching through the forum to try and find this out by with out any luck. I am looking to get a 2GB SanDisk SD card for my 700p. Now here is the kicker.
Is there any benifit of getting the Extreme III card over getting the Ultra II or just the standard 2GB card? I know that in digital cameras the III writes faster than the II and so on down the line. But can the Treo 700p read or write at spead that would make a higher end card benificial? I want to get the best card available, but I don't want to waste my money on getting a fast card if the treo can't utilize the read/write speads of that card.
