Default Tom Tom 6

I just recieved my tom tom 6 mobile navigator and so far ive used it once. I really like it... but is there anything i need to know besides the stupid quirk that shuts off your route when you get a phone call/text?

also, is there a way to just turn the phone off?

To shut off just the phone you only have to push and hold the red oblong button on the right just under the touchscreen. I know that all the other functions of the unit still work when you do this but I've never tried it with my Tom Tom 6. To be honest with you, I don't know if the phone has to be turned on for it to work or not.

I found that you need to have the phone on until the gps has found enough satellites and sorted your location. I think you can switch the phone off after that.
