I have a 700p and I'm interested in TT5. How accurate is the GPS..like is it accurate to in, feet, yards? Over all, is it worth it? I want one for my car and looking for points of interest. also I'll be hiking here and there.

It's fantastic software. Read my
TomTom 5 review. It is VERY accurate. There have been only a few times (once or twice) that TomTom had issues -- one was a construction area is Jersey with a ton of criss-crossing roads. The other was a road that was closed in Manhattan. Both easily forgiven. You can also access POI's from within your trip. So, let's say you're headed to Vermont from NY - a quick tap of POI's will bring up restaurants. This is great for finding a restaurant that might not be listed on the highway signs. I have used this to track down Starbuck's - priceless.
It's available in the
Everything Treo Store, backed by our
30 day guarantee.
The 700p is not listed by TomTom as a supported device, but I have had zero problems with TT on my Treo 700p.

TT will track you, but I'm not sure what it'll show if you're in the sticks. If you plan on using it to hike, then get the Bluetooth GPS that's part of the bundle. This allows you to easily switch cars, take it on the road or walk around.
