Toyota Prius Bluetooth pairing
I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Prius and cannot get it to pair with my Treo 700p (Verizon). I have followed the instructions for both the Treo and the Prius but the car will not recognize the Treo. Has anyone else had this problem?? If so, can the problem be solved? Thank you, Lynn Coriell, lcoriell@columbus.rr.com

You may want to edit your post so you don't show your address. You will be hit with a ton (and a half) of new spam.
Better to type your address this way "lcoriell AT columbus DOT rr DOT com"
Anyone seeing it will know what your address is.

I was able to get my '07 Prius to work (sort of) with my Verizon Centro, thanks to the tips listed at PriusChat. But:
- When I start the car, it doesn't always see the blue tooth- I have to take the phone out of my purse and press the red "on" button and the "phone" button and then the car sees the phone.
-Sometimes the car doesn't ring for an incoming call- suddenly my radio volume drops and I realize someone has connected.
- I still can't get it to transfer contacts
- I get more "terminated by network" calls than I did with my old RazR
BTW- I called Palm tech support and the guy said they don't support the Centro with the Prius. He then started to read me a list of cars they do support with the Centro, like I was going to go buy a new car... I told him I wasn't buying a new car to go with my phone!
Has anyone else had any problems? Anyone have any tips?

Bluetooth pairing with Toyota Prius
My Treo 650 paired fine with my 2009 Toyota Prius with navigation system (GPS). But it won't pair with the 2010 Prius, which doesn't have the GPS. The Toyota service dept. said it sometimes works to call the Treo from another phone when the Prius is attempting to recognize the phone (after entering the code for the Prius into the Treo). They tried it with mine and it didn't work, but you might want to try it. I'm still looking for a solution....
