    Default Treo 700, Texting and Sprint

    I recently purchased the Treo 700wx from Sprint. I was unable to sent text messages to T-Mobile and Verizon. I was told it was a problem in the binary code. And there was no time frame given to fix problem. Since I need text messaging with my phone, I returned the phone back to Sprint.

    Question is: Is the text problem unique to the 700wx or does this problem also affect the 700p?

    It is just a problem with the 700w/wx. It something in the WM code. The 700p is palm and does not have this problem.
