Treo 700P hates my MAC?!?! HELP!!! - Treo Forums

For some odd reason my computer(Macbook running 10.4.9) will not do anything when I try to HotSync my Treo 700P with it. Once plugged it with the USB cable the computer doesn't even read it. The only way I am able to HotSync is via Bluetooth but it goes REALLY REALLY REALLY slow(takes almost 2 hours to transfer 30MB!).

When I first tried to HotSync it with the cable it worked, and then I set up the Bluetooth connection and it worked fine. The next day I tried to HotSync(both USB and Bluetooth) and nothing happened. I selected 1 connection that was Bluetooth in the HotSync Manager and now I'm where I am today.

If you have any idea at all on what I can do to fix this please let me know ASAP!

I had the same issues when I first got my MacBook and tried syncing. I was originally using the Palm Software Provided to me on the Palm website for Mac.

If you're using the Palm software, I would strongly recommend you to switch and use the Missing Sync. I used it and I will never switch back to using the Palm software.

Can you launch the HotSync Manager so that it appears in the dock and then try to HotSync?

I'm not sure if this question is for me. If it is, I no longer use the HotSync Manager Palm provides.
