Default Treo 700p Wont turn on

I have a 700p that just keeps power cycling. My phone was working this morning then I took out the battery for put in a full one and after I do so it stuck on the palm screen then cycled to the screen when the phone turns on then shuts right off and does the same thing again and again.

Should I hard reset the phone?

I dont know what to do but i use this for work so i need it to work!

    any help is good.

    thanks

The problem with executing a general sync after a hard reset is that you may be installing the problem again. A device based backup solution that saves to the card is a better answer, as many of the applications allow you to specify a specific (love those spec things) number of backup files on the card. This means that you can restore from a specific (love those spec things) date. In addition, if the PIM files are ok, you can do a restore from a specific date and then restore ONLY the PIM files from another specific (love those spec things) date.

    Default 700P power cycling

My Treo is power cycling. Is there any way to boot it up without doing a hard reset? I've already tried a soft boot.

I have a lot of data in the phone that hasn't been backed up. Ya, I know that is a "no no". I was having trouble sync'n so I haven't done it for months.

Default recover deleted information after access powered loop and reset

Did you find an answer to your problem? My treo went into an access powered loop and everything was wiped out. Does anyone know how to recover the information - contacts, text messages and call log?
