    Question Trouble sending PICT messages...

Hey all, I'm having trouble sending Picture messages with my TREO 700p. When I try to send a picture, it fails to send with the error:

"Message failed. A communication error has occured. [Communication Error]"

    I don't know why I get this.

I can send SMS messages fine! Anyone know what can be going on?

What steps are you taking to send a picture message? Are you sending photos or videos? Are the photos or videos taken with the Treo or downloaded onto you treo from elsewhere? At what point of the process do you get the error message? This is how I do it. If you do it the same, then try a reset and see if that helps.

Open Messages. Select "new". Enter the pertinent info (number, message), then select "Add Media". Click on the photo icon and add the picture or video you want to send. Then click "Send". A little green envelope appears at the top right of the screen with a moving yellow arrow and a count of the percentage of the file being transfered. When it gets to 100, the file is sent. Do you get the green envelope appearing?

    That's exactly what I tried.

I get the green envelope but it stays at 0% the whole time and then must time out, then gives me that communications error.

    Hi and welcome to ET:

Not all carriers support Picture Messaging. Who is your carrier and do you know if you are supposed to have that feature?

I have unlimited IN text and PIX messaging from Verizion wireless. It worked flawlessly up until my Motorola V325 broke and got the 700p as a replacement.
