Unknown symbols at top of phone bar - Treo Forums

I have been on hold with Treo tech support for an hour trying to figure out what a symbol is at the very top of my phone bar. When I'm in the keypad phone mode at the very far left is SPRINT - then at the very far right is the battery symbol, then to the left is the antenna/reception symbol then to the left of that is the bluetooth symbol, then to the left of that is the GPS symbol then to the left of that is a very small light blue box with white squares inside it. Sometimes it reverses itself - the box disappears and the little squares become light blue. When I tap it nothing happens. Does anyone know what that box is for? Can I get rid of it. I have a friend with a Palm 700P and his does not have that box.

I don't have the symbol on my 700P
is this when you are just online? or is it gone when you are online? I have the little Lightning Bolt...the Earth, Home, Bookmarks, and Receptions Bars
Let me know what Sprint says it is...or maybe the booklet might have some answers eh?

Treo ended up calling Palm and Palm didn't know what the symbol was....they thnought it was and EVDO signal.
