Need Help Unwanted Reset in Memo

I have a 700p and when I attempt to open a particular memo, the system resets and get's stuck on the round orange palm logo. I want to delete the memo but I have to open it to do so. I have been a palm user for over 7 years and have had my Treo 700p for over a year. Any thoughts?

    Hi:

I have a 650, but this was fairly common when using Documents To Go to view Word or Excel files. If that is what you are using, take a look at this Palm article:

I can tell you that after installing the DataViz Tech Tool I have not had a reset opening documents since. I got the impression their Tool also applies to the 700p.

Let us know if this helps or if not, perhaps you have one file with corruption. Does that file open on your desktop system?

A reset with the Memo application normally indicates a bad file or index. Pimlico Software, makers of Datebook, has a new application that works on the PIM and other databases on the device. The application is DBFixIt and the link is http://pimlicosoftware.com/dbfixit.htm.
