Upgrade issues from Palm Z22 to Palm Treo 700p

EDIT: I was able to resolve this issue today by re-synching my Palms and then getting the programs out of the Backup folder. One book would not sync but I am not too worried about that one. I still am having issues with the bluetooth though...

I just got the Palm Treo 700p and am trying to get some ebooks and My Bible onto the Treo and the Treo is saying it cannot find the application to run it. I have an ereader (downloaded from Palm) and MobiPocket on the Treo.

I also am having trouble with my Bluetooth headset. I have tried 2 different Jabra BT250 sets and they sound terrible...the sound crackles quite a bit. Any ideas?
