I went directly from a 650 to a 755P and I've been very happy with it.
I find myself in a position of possibly changing phones and would appreciate advice from anyone. I Have a three year old Treo 700p from Sprint, one of my family members lives outside of a Sprint area and I am contemplating moving all the phones to Alltel. This would mean that my 700p would no longer work and Alltel has the 755p for a reasonable price. I am not willing to give up the touch screen, i.e. Centro, and I've tried the HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro. The WM has failed to impress me and while I am aware that the Palm OS is dying, I feel that it will continue to be usable for awhile. I have applications for the Palm that WM has so far been unable or unwilling to provide. I am familar with Palm OS and feel that conversion to another OS would be a problem.
I would really like hear if anyone has negative feedback regarding the 755p.
Treo 700p (Sprint) 2GB SD card; Palm Centro (Sprint) 4GB Micro SD card

I'm not sure there's a whole lot of difference between the 700p and 755p. I talked to my sprint guy and he said from the 700 it's not worth upgrading. From the 650 there's several reasons. (evdo, more storage, better cam) both of which were important to me.
