Verizon sync and Palm desktop
Hello,
New to the forum and the Treo. I use the Verizon wireless sync to get my work email on my treo but i have found that it also syncs with all my contacts and calender stuff. The problem is i want to use Palm desktop to update and sync my contacts and calender info b/c i can use it at home and at work. Is there a way to use both?

I dont understand your question a 100%. I use the wireless sync as well with my Outlook at my office. Email, contacts, calender, tasks, etc. As far as at home, I just use the the Treo and of course it syncs all the info with my office computer. No need to have another DB at home (thats why I got the treo!). I would think you would start to get duplicates and errors if you did that. But Im no expert and it may be possible.
You can log onto your wireless sync program on you desktop, and set your options up so that it only wireless syncs your email. Then you can hotsync everything else like your palm desktop. Just make sure one of the computers (home or work) is set to "handheld overwrites the desktop" or your sure to get duplicates and errors and then your calender will really be jacked. I would set my home hotsync up like that if it were me, because most of my planning is done at work. However, again, while at home, I would just look at my treo to check my calender and such. Are you using outlook at work currently or palm desktop?
