Camera or Multimedia No WiFi - No Sale!

As one who refuses to pay for Verizon's internet service, I was very disappointed that the 700P has no WiFi capabilities. For me, there is precious little on the 700P to make me want to upgrade my Treo 650. I guess I'll probably probably have to switch to the Samsung or some other brand when my phone contract expires in December. What a bummer!

So instead of paying Verizon $40 per month for data, you gotta pay tmobile $25 per month hot spot access?

There's a big difference between having data access almost everywhere vs. WiFi access in very limited places.
I agree that it sucks to pay $40 per month for data, but what else can we all do if you need data access 24/7 anywhere?

The $40 charge for data over Verizon is what kept me on Sprint. I got grandfathered for Vision for $0 when i re-signed a 2 yr last month. It was worth it.

Is the $40 for EVDO or for their normal data access?

Default 700p or 700w??

So, what seems to be the better route to take? I didn't realize until on got here that there was so much wrong with the 700w. Is it because of it being new version with Windows format? What are going to be the Pros & Cons of the two? more memory? res. any different? I'm with Sprint for now but I've thought about changing to Verison. Sprint's PR sucks in the stores!!!!!!! Any insight on this situation would be helpful! Thank You ;-)

I'd check out my 700w review. It compares and contrasts the 700w vs the Treo 650. Improvements over the 650 include EvDO, 1.3 megapixel camera, support for DUN (dial up networking), 60 MB of user memory. The review should give you more insight between the two operating systems and how things work on each phone.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask.
