The woman at Verizon told me that was how I was going to get around having a year left on my phone contract.

The phone's not stolen, if that's what you're "red flagging". I had the previous owner call and run the serial number with verizon before I bought it. I'm not an idiot.

And please do not post in my thread if you do not read all the posts first (David Price). Stop asking me why it didn't come on my CD, which for the second time, I don't have. You would know this if you read my second post.

Since I did not ask why you did not have a CD I'm not even sure if your comments are directed at me or perhaps TBolt. Frankly, now I do not care.

I suppose I could have left your first question alone and concentrated on the second since you asked people about their experiences. My sincerest apologies for making a feeble attempt at helping you. Again, it won't matter anymore.

Maybe next time someone posts in "your thread" and you take offense to what's been written, you'll send that person a private message stating your thoughts. Kind of the opposite of what I'm doing right now.

As far as posting in "your thread", have no fear. I won't even open a discussion that you've started from here on out.

Now can you honestly tell me that when you have to explain yourself more than once in a written document, that you do not get a little frustrated?Maybe I could've been a bit nicer in letting you know, but you've stooped to "my level" by responding in the thread when you said yourself that PMs should be used here. Personally I like to polish peoples ignorance in front of others, so sue me. They deserve it.

And my comments were directed at you (hence your name), I asked what version I should purchase and said that I did not have any CDs, and you responded with (im paraphrasing) "I dunno, it was on both of my CDs."

See how thats a little ignorant?

Everyone here at ET.com is trying to learn and to help others learn. In myexperience here, most replies to posts are made with the best of intentions. We're not in the business of making personal attacks on other members. There are other forums out there that condone it, but we don't here at ET.com.

Having said that, I'm going to close this thread, however, I will open a new one with the posts looking for assistance, as ronstoppable is still (I believe) in need of a little help with his Treo.
