is there any software that will let you voice dial through your bluetooth headset and allow you to hear the ringtones too?

No need to bump. The Palm OS does not support Bluetooth voice dialing.

If you want Bluetooth voice dialing, the ONLY solution is to use a Bluetooth Dongle that plugs into the headset jack and that WILL give you Bluetooth voice dialing through a SIMULATED wired headset connection.

This is how I am using my new 700p with bluetooth headsets...but I am so disappointed I can't give voice commands through the headset to the treo's OS for action. This is so pratical that I can't believe they would have design such limits on the implementation of bluetooth. But at least my Plantronics 855 works flawlessly in non-stero mode. The voice quality and volume are perfect.

I agree with your statement; however, if the device were to do EVERYTHING everybody KNOWS is a requirement, the device would never get out the door. In addition, Bluetooth itself is far from perfect. About 6 months ago I dropped Nextel, the phone I had with them, a high end phone that did everything (literally), and frankly, the phone sucked in a number of areas that the Treo does pretty good with.

The Bluetooth dongle does well. I had one with my 600 and did the voice control stuff with it. I just have not missed it though, as the current series do so many things, that one thing is just not important to me.
