I understand that they don't want to lose rev., but it sure would be nice if I could surf the internet at home through my wireless system, with the Treo 700p...

Not sure why they made the 700w work and not the 700p. Perhaps it is more a driver issue and Palm just doesn't want to put resources towards the development of a driver for WiFi?
