2002 Microsoft Outlook "United States Holiday" calendar problems

so i'm trying to add the "united states holidays" to my calendar and i'm not seeing it and wondering why. finally i find out that the holidays only work up until year 2005. now i just bought my phone (treo 700) a few days ago and the software is already outdated. this kinda annoys me and seems really pointless if you ask me.
so is there an update pack for the holidays or do i have to buy the newest version of outlook?

even more annoying... when i enter in peoples birthdays and events that are reoccuring it synchs it to my treo but actually changes the date on the treo and it's a whole day off.
this is really pissing me off. i dont understand why my treo is changing the dates so it's always a day earlier then when it really should be.

i try to install it and it says it cant find that version of outlook on my computer so now i'll have to do some playing with it, but thanks.
