eBay'd it, search '4GB SD', it is a TopRAM, and comes with the knackto USB reader converter...

I'll format it and start reading/writing to it, if I have any problems, I'll post'em up!

What do you mean by format and re-load WM5?

I can 'hard-reset' the Treo 700w back to factory defaults and then re-load apps in a particular order so that they can work better. Such as Resco Explorer and have it on first so that I can do the regedits I want to early, and later it will help to 'move' apps to the storage card rather than be on the TREO. Funny you should ask, bec today was the day I had earmarked to do just that! LOL

So you're just talking about moving apps, not "running" memory or RAM...?

Working within the registry is pretty powerful. I believe there are several really good optimizers for those who want to 'tweak' performance. Somethings may move better than others, but things like browser caches etc could be moved to to free up system space.

I waited until I could get a large SD card so that I could map the folders appropriately.

If anyone knows how to create 'virtual RAM' on a SD card, that would be handy piece of information right there...

This could be a dumb question...I'll ask anyway.

Is there a storage/Wifi card out on the market? I don't even know if this is possible, but thought I would ask. This would be great so that you don't have to switch out the cards.
