    Default ActiveSync 4.5 / Why my wx looks add's a network adapter upon connecting to pc

    Seems there are a few people who are having problems with ActiveSync 4.5. I just got my device before the DST update. I am going to try revert to ActiveSync 4.2. Can anyone comment on problems with the 700wx and ActiveSync 4.5?

    Also, when connecting my device, a new network adapter shows up and the adapter looks for an IP address. This is driving me crazy because I can't sync until it finishes adding itself as a network adapter. There must be a way to turn this off or something. Disabling the network adapter does nothing.

    First I would uninstall 4.5 and then reinstall it. Other people have had success withh that process and the 750 it might work for you too. If not uninstall and reinstall 4.2. welcome to ET billingsworld.
