Activesync problem - Treo Forums

I just got a WX. I had the w and hated the crashes, so I went to the P. The P was great, but I missed the multitasking. So I got the WX which I love so far. However, Im having an issue where my partnership is being erased on the WX!!!! I create a partnership, put in the cradle and everything is fine for a while. I will pull out, go somewhere, come back and the partnership is gone. I open activesync on the WX and it has the screen on how to create a partnership. The partnership name is still on my desktop though, so Im convince its the unit. However, I use VZW Wireless synce for calender, contacts, and tasks. I justed wanted activesync for syncing certain files and so forth. I have some 3rd party programs as well. Does anyone have any advise or solution? Thanks

I was very hesitant to change back to windows mobile from palm because I had problems on initial installation of AS with prior pocket pcs and also upgrading AS. I experienced similar issues with the partnership being deleted. Havent experienced that with the 750 knock on wood. All that said I know there have been postings of problem with the VZW wireless sync so its possible that may have seomething to do with it. Have you gone to the user guide troubleshooting section.? Also windows mobile site has knowledge base for troubleshooting issues with active sync and windows mobile. I will try to look up and see what I can find out.

As a follow up, my active sync and PDAnet have worked flawlessly today. Fingers crossed, so far so good.
