remember each comma adds a 1 sec pause (i used 2 commas)
and put a # at the end
check "dial extra digits automatically"
it worked great for me
Right on! The key is going to -->advanced after --> edit and adding the commas and additional digits. Just adding them at edit will not cut it. I was unable to accomplish this until reading the above helpful post.

still need some help...
What if they are not on my speed dial.

I guess Treo assumes then yyou have the time to type in the rest of the digits hehehe

I was only able to do this with Speed Dial numbers.
-
Using a # sign on non speed dial numbers.
I was trying to navigate a voice mail system recenty to spell by name and realzed on the the "black numbers were active. My phone was on the today screen. I found if I went to Menu> Dial Pad that you should be able to get full function just like old fashion phone.
My first post, hope it helps
