Was wondering how to add a pause to a contact's phone number, like when you need to press a "#" and then the extension of somone office number.

Use a comma between the numbers.

I've put them in my voicemail and other numbers. Don't know what the issue is there.

well when I am inputing a phone number in the phone field you can press the numbers in the keypad without problemm but when i try to press any other key besides the black number ones... nothing happens... it is like it only accepts the numbers to be pressed.

I put the comma's in via my desktop email app or with Pocket Informant since the built in contact app won't let me.

    mito,

go to menu--> speed dial options-->select voicemail--> menu again-->edit-->advanced--.then type a comma follwed immediately by your password in the extra digit section

remember each comma adds a 1 sec pause (i used 2 commas)
and put a # at the end
    check "dial extra digits automatically"

    it worked great for me
