Go to Shapeservices.com it's like $35, but you can use AIM, Yahoo, MSN, and a couple others I believe. It's pretty damn good!

i use octrotalk. www.octrotalk.com you need to have a gmail account since i connects through that. but right now its free bc its still under testing. works well for me though

when i tried downloading it on my 700wx, the dlowload link just went to a huge page with a bunch of script. Any other forms of Dl?

I am able to navigate to octrotalks download page and download the CAB from my treo without any problem. Are you trying to download the CAB or MSI file? Maybe thats the issue. Download the CAB to ur storage or wherever and run it. I just upgraded yesterday and it worked. hope that helps

I just went to the octro page, and clicked the download button for the windows based pocket pc, and it went to that page. I didn't have an option to click anything else. Is there a specific area on the site to go to??

Also..how do I update my phone??

this is the link to the license agreement which u have to accept in order to download the app. http://octrotalk.com/license.php after u accept at the bottom of the page it brings u to the DL page. To update your phone go to palms homepage and read the firmware update section. But I am a firm believer in if it aint broke saying. Ive updated other phones before that worked great and after the update didnt work as well. I dont plan on updating my treo. It works great. also what browser are u using on ur treo. I use PIE and it works, i havent tried other browers on that site. if its still not working DL the CAB to ur PC and just transfer it over to ur treo using activesync or WMDC (if you have vista). Hope that helps.

I'll try all that for sure. I have the wx, so I'm using internet explorer so access the page. I believe in the if it aint broke saying as well, so negatory on the update =).

I've always uses agile messenger,and found it pretty reliable.It was free now theres a small fee.
