Default Another Update Problem

Hello. Ok I got past the .msi problem and have a new one.

When I try to run the update I get an error message on the phone itself that says "A problem has occurred with rapiclnt."

That stops the update process and the updater stops responding. If I dismiss the error and try to run it again it stops at "copying files" and never progresses.

Help

Thanks!
-Tracy

Try this:
  1. Disconnect from your PC.
  2. Reboot PC.
  3. Soft-Reset Treo
  4. Connect
  5. Run Update

I tried that and the same thing happens :-(

Also the updater screen appears on my Treo for a second and then it disappears and the updater window on my PC freezes at the end of copying files.

If it were mine, I'd do a HARD reset, delete your ActiveSync Partnership on your PC, and when you connect to your PC, leave it as a guest account.

Also, possibly try downloading the update again, and use WinZip to extract the files instead of XP.
