Anyone know how to delete accounts under messaging??

Ok, so you guys know how when you click on messaging and there's other accounts there--Text, Outlook, then your mobile email that you add etc.

Well I added an email account and i set it up wrong. Now i want to delete it out of the accounts under my messaging so that it doesnt take up any unnecessary space.

To be exact, when i open up my messaging and hit menu->switch accounts, 5 things pop up. Text Messages, Outlook E-Mail, MMS, yahoomail, and Yahoomail! ...I had set up the "Yahoomail!" account incorrectly and now i would like to know how to delete that amongst the messaging accounts on my phone! Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

go to where all the accounts are lined up (text pop 3 mms). then arrow down to the account you want to delete and hold in the center button till the delete pop up shows then hit the center key again

uhhh that didn't work, but i figured it out. I had to go to messaging-->menu-->tools-->options. But since you told me the holding of the center button you helped! Thanks!
