Default Backing Up Phone's Address Book

I do not have my Treo 700wx synced up to Outlook -- I only have my contacts stored on the phone's address book. Unfortunately no one at Sprint or Palm seems to know how to save phone contacts to a memory card or computer.

Anyone know how to back up the phone's phone book?

Because my internet won't connect, I'm having to do a hard reset to my phone, which will wipe out all the data, including the phone book. Maybe someone can help me secure it?

Thanks so much!

Go to mail2web.com and follow their directions to set up a "free" account that will allow you to back up your contacts and other info on their server. I just received my Treo 700wx phone earlier this week and entered in the info and it loaded my phone up in less than 2 minutes. I have used it for months with my PPC-6700.

Since you mentioned a storage card, you may install the SpriteBackup to copy your data in the SD card. It comes along with the installation disc. I am using SPB backup and it works perfectly for me.

Is there no way for you to connect to a PC to sync with outlook? Aside from the comments above, your only option is to beam the contacts to another device, this is pretty slow mind you but at least you can get the items off your device.

There might be some data files on the device that you could copy to a storage card but I don't know if that's a good idea or not - maybe someone else could comment on the data files and if they can be copied to your desktop and pasted back after a hard reset.
