    Default Battery Drain When Off

What might be causing the battery to lose half its charge overnight when the 700w is turned off, and I take the precaution of stopping all actions before turning it off? As the manual recommends, I keep it charged when I'm at work or in the car; i.e., I "top it off" regularly.

One possibility: if ActiveSync is programmed to check every 15 minutes, will it try to connect and drain power, even though (1) I terminated ActiveSync before shutting down and (2) the 'phone was turned off also? I rather doubt it, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Check and make sure that the blue tooth is not on... That will suck alot of the battery.

I have found BT to not be the only or at least not the major culprit. Do you have any calender appts that pop up during the night or earl AM? I found that uncleared appt's are killing my battery.

    Default Problem Solved?

The battery drain problem has disappeared (for now, anyway). What did I do different? For one thing, I changed the "off-peak" ActiveSync to "manual," just in case the Treo was trying to sync with my office e-mail, etc., with the 'phone off. I've also taken care to close all programs, by holding the OK button and selecting "stop all" on the resultant screen -- before shutting down for the night.

Thanks to those who replied. I appreciated the input.
